Sirois Tool Sponsors Event to Benefit Connecticut Children’s
Sirois Tool is sponsoring the Concorso Ferrari & Friends event to benefit Connecticut Children’s again this year. The event will be held Sunday, June 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Farmington Polo Grounds in Farmington, CT. Proceeds from the event will support the Greatest Need Children’s Fund at Connecticut Children’s.
The annual event attracts thousands of Connecticut Children’s supporters and regional car enthusiasts and includes a display of nearly 200 Italian supercars including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Fiat. In addition to viewing all makes and models of luxury Italian automobiles and supercars, listening to driver interviews, and enjoying food truck fare, spectators are encouraged to cheer on the arrival of the Connecticut Children’s Heroes parade. The event will also be expecting hundreds of supercars from the New England Supercar Club for their annual Cars & Coffee; which begins at 8 a.m.
Alan Ortner will chauffer one of Connecticut Children’s tiny patients in his Maserati during the parade. “We have a strong sense of community at Sirois Tool”, Ortner said. “We’re always looking for opportunities to give back, and Connecticut Children’s is such a worthy cause.” Since the first event, in 2001, Concorso Ferrari & Friends has raised more than $1.6 million in support of the great work done at Connecticut Children’s.
Connecticut Children’s is the only health system in Connecticut dedicated to children, providing more than 30 pediatric specialties along with community-based programs. More than 117,000 children from the region and around the world came to Connecticut Children’s for world-class care. That’s why supporting the Greatest Need Children’s Fund is so important.
We look forward to seeing you there!
